have you ever had a someone in your life that drives you Up a wall— pining after you for eternity + then snubbing you in an almost malicious way the second you gave them a chance?
this person eats up your insides— they wronged you in a way that made you question yourself + reconsider the amount of alcohol you should drink on a given evening. this person that you always had a flirty relationship with yet there were reasons, good reasons, really really good reasons to keep you apart.
you would tip toe around something for years that inevitably would turn into you finally, at long last, giving into these advances- and you would end up feeling the (almost) last flutter of lust you once shared leave your body as they screwed you over and sent you running- fast- in the other direction.
i saw my person- That person- last night. and every time i do, i hate myself a little more for only half wanting to punch him in the face…while the other half still wants to do, well, something else.
i know he feels the same. sans any desire to punch me.
